Arsenal vs. Chelsea… Take Your Picks!

By Columnist Matt Lieberman

We are in the middle of the summer, and although the major leagues aren’t currently running, there is still a lot going on in the world of soccer.  The 2017 Football Association (FA) English Community Shield will take place in the form of a rivalry match — think North vs. West London — as Arsenal and Chelsea face each other on Sunday, August 6, at 9 AM ET. The Football Association Community Shield happens just once a year between the previous Premier League champions (Chelsea) and the winners of the FA Cup (Arsenal). Arsenal won the FA Cup back in May in a 2-1 win, while Chelsea clinched the Premier League title with a 1-0 win vs. West Bromwich. Quibbl asks you what you think will happen when these two historic clubs take the pitch to face each other to determine who are the true kings of London.

In their last five matches — three Premier League games, one FA Cup game, and one friendly — Chelsea is 3-2-0, having pulled out a 3-1 win in their most recent Premier League fixture.  The match will take place at the world-famous Wembley Stadium in London.
