Tonight, on ABC at 8pm ET, the top names in sports and beyond (Michelle Obama, anyone?) will gather at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the year’s biggest event in sports. The 25th annual ESPY awards will be hosted by 5-time NFL MVP and 2-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning.


It is sure to be an exciting night, but before we let the remaining time pass, let’s take a look at the top awards and their nominees.

  • American Olympic Gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles

The nominees are…

  • Tom Brady, Super Bowl MVP with Super Bowl records of 43 completions on 62 attempts for 466 passing yards
  • Kevin Durant, NBA Finals MVP averaging 35.2 ppg
  • Shay Knighten, Oklahoma first baseman who won MOP in the WCWS
